Behavior Rubric

Introduction

LiveSchool makes it easy to create consistent behavior expectations. Whenever you record a point or demerit, you will use a behavior rubric shared by all the teachers on your team!

Rubrics have two components: Categories and Behaviors. Categories can be used to organize your behaviors into helpful groups. Common uses are to group together behaviors for a specific grade (i.e. “7th-Grade Expectations") or to align to your school values (i.e. “Respect”).

Add to Your Rubric

To edit your rubric, go to the mode selector and choose Site Mode.

Choose “Edit Your Behavior Rubric."

First, create a New Category. Click the New Category button.

Now, create a new behavior under that category. Click New Behavior. You can:

  • Name This name can be up to 32 characters and will show up in the app and on weekly reports.
  • Type What kind of data can be recorded for this behavior? Options: Positive only, Negative only, or Both
  • Point Value How many points should this behavior be worth? Options: 0 points (informational only) or a number 1-100.
  • Notifications Automatically notify staff members when this behavior is recorded? You can select one or more individuals to receive an email alert.
Edit Your Rubric

You can edit a category or behavior at any time. 

First click on the category or behavior you want to edit.

Make your changes. And save!  

Note: If you delete a category, every behavior under that category will also be deleted.
