In LiveSchool, you will spend most of your time in Points Mode recording behavior data. This article will walk you through how to use Points mode! 

Get into Points mode by selecting Points from the mode selector. 

In points mode, you will first select students that you want to record behavior data for. There are a couple ways to select a student. 

You can select one student by clicking the student’s button. 

You can select multiple students. 

You can select all students with the select all button. 

You can deselct student by click their button.

You can use the undo button to deselect all students. 

Once you have the amount of students you wish to select, click continue. 

Now, you will select a behavior. On the behavior rubric, you can select one behavior. 

Or multiple behaviors. 

Then click submit. Your behavior data will be recorded. 

When you are recording a behavior, you can also leave a comment! Choose a behavior and click the comment bubble. 

Write your comment in the box at the bottom of the screen. 

Then, click submit. The behavior will be logged with the comment. You can see the behavior and comment on the students button. 

Note: the comment can be seen by your colleagues and will show up on student’s weekly reports. 

You can give behavior points and change the day and time. This is great if you forget to give a point in the moment but remember at the end of the day!

To change the date or time, choose a student. 

Then, choose a behavior. 

To change the time or day stamp of the behavior, click the current time button. 

Then change the time or day of the behavior and choose save.

To change the location of a beahvior, click the default setting “classroom.”

Then, choose the place where the behavior occured.
