Now that you have created a LiveSchool site, let’s go over how to use your account! There are six modes in LiveSchool. They include: 

• Setup Mode In setup mode you can create class rosters, add, edit and delete students and users.
• Points Mode This is where you will spend most of your time in LiveSchool and the place where you will track points for your students based on a behavior rubric. 
• Reports Mode This is where you will print weekly reports to communicate with students and parents. 
• Rewards Mode Here you will charge students for rewards they earn from student bank accounts. 
• Chat Mode In chat mode you can send a school wide notification to communicate with your team. 
• Site Mode This is where you will edit your behavior rubric, reset bank accounts to zero, edit site information and clear all site data at the end of the year. 

You can navigate between modes by clicking the active mode’s name.

A drop down menu allows you to move between the modes.

Use Chat to communicate with your team! 

When a new message is waiting for you, a yellow dot will appear. Click on Chat. 

Your chats will appear with time stamps and dates. You can respond by typing in the message box. 

When you need help or have a question and you are logged into the app, you can get help quickly by clicking the question mark in the upper right corner of your screen. 

A menu will drop down. Here you can access: 

• Training Videos 
• The LiveSchool Forum 
• The LiveSchool Blog 
• Contact Support 

Next, when you click on your profile, a menu drops down for your account. Let’s check out each option:

Here you can decide how your student buttons will look in all of the modes. 

Here you can decide how your student buttons will look in all of the modes. You can sort students:

• Alphabetically by First Name or Last Name 
• Alphabetically from A-Z or Z-A 
• Decide to Show Gender or not 

Your default profile picture will be your initials, but you can upload a profile picture so that other people on your site can see you! 

With Filepicker you can upload a photo from your laptop, Facebook or take a picture! 

It’s a good idea to change your password periodically throughout the year or after a LiveSchool support person resets your password with a default. You can update your password here! 

Enter your current password and your new password. Then save! 

When you are ready to Logout of LiveSchool, click here!
